Spring Lane Day Nursery provides a warm, caring and loving atmosphere for children from 3 months to 5 years. We are situated within a school site, with easy access to the town centre and 10 minutes from Canterbury East train station. Our spacious, bright, air-conditioned nursery is a specially designed building, newly refurbished and decorated throughout with colourful displays created by the children. We have 8 rooms, two for each age group which are: babies (up to 15 months), toddlers (15 months - 2 years), nursery (2 - 3 years) and pre-school (3 – 5 years).

Our baby rooms offer a loving and stimulating environment with a wide range of activities such as sand and water, sensory and heuristic areas. We work alongside parents to offer support when weaning and help with feeding. Our toddler rooms have a wide range of different activities from water and shaving foam play to stories and singing. Our nursery staff have lots of fun encouraging the children’s learning by ensuring that weekly planning meets each child’s individual needs. The whole nursery works to the Early Years Foundation Stage alongside the continuious provision that is out at all times for the children to access. We have three gardens, a baby garden, toddler and pre-school which offer freeflow from the room making the most of the outside environment.

Meal times are fun as the children are encouraged to serve themselves. We promote good hygiene by encouraging them to wash their hands before and after meals. Our on-site cook provides well-balanced and nutritious meals catering for all dietary needs.
