Kingston Day Nursery is a 72 place nursery based in a converted chapel five minutes' walk from the main station and town centre. The nursery is open 7.30am - 6.30pm 51 weeks of the year. We offer flexible sessions for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is also close to the river and park, enabling regular walks and outings for all the children.

The rooms are set up to encourage independence - throughout the day equipment and resources are accessible to the children enabling them to explore and experiment in a way that focuses on their individual interests and life experiences. Within the environment the staff engage in the children's play to support and build on their knowledge, skills and understanding, fostering their curiosity and developing a love of learning. The children also have access to an outdoor play space which is used daily and is an extension of the indoor learning environment.

At Kingston we recognise that parents are the most important people in a child's life and that the relationship between the parent and nursery is fundamental to the child's well being, development and progress. In the nursery we adopt a key person approach to ensure that this relationship is supported throughout your time with us.
