Enfield Day Nursery is situated within the David Lloyd Leisure Club located just off the M25 with easy access onto the North Circular. We are open 51 weeks of the year and operate between the hours of 7.30am to 6.00pm. The nursery is registered to take up to 38 children aged 3 months to 4 years and 11 months. We also provide a crèche facility for David Lloyd Club members, open throughout the week.

We have two units within the Nursery; Under 2’s and Over 2’s. Each room is equipped with furniture and resources that are age appropriate and meet the children’s learning and development stages. The "Early Years Foundation Stage" framework has been implemented throughout the nursery to ensure the best possible learning and development for all of our children. Regular observations are carried to monitor children’s progress and development.

Our Under 2’s unit was refurbished in October 2009, providing a large and bright area for children aged 3 months to 2 years. In our calm and relaxed environment we offer a wide variety of toys and resources designed to stimulate babies’ sensory explorations. We work in partnership with parents to ensure that each babies’ daily routine is followed.

Our Nursery Room accommodates up to 12 children aged 2 to 3 years. Recently redecorated, this cosy environment gives children the opportunity to explore through play, while freely accessing water and sand trays, books, and creative activities that enhance their learning and development skills.

Our Pre-School Room, also recently redecorated, provides a bright and airy space for up to 14 children aged 3 to 5 years. The room is designed to encourage children to select their own resources to play with. Our planned activities offer children communication, numeracy, language and literacy skills required prior to starting school.

We have three separate enclosed gardens with safety surfacing for the under 2’s and over 2’s. These areas are equipped with resources that encourage physical development, social interaction, exploration, and investigation.

Here at Enfield Day Nursery we have our own cook within the David Lloyd Club kitchen, who prepares balanced meals from Asquith’s Healthy Eating menus. We are also able to cater for special dietary requirements and babies’ weaning needs.
