I am the Childcare & Education Training and Development Advisor visiting and supporting 14 nurseries in the M23 and Kent area.

I have been in Early Years for 18 years working at different levels with children from 3 months to 11 years which I thoroughly enjoy. I believe that every child deserves the best start in life, to achieve this they need first and for most supporting and sensitive adults looking after them.

I have always taken responsibility for my professional development and to date gained:

NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Early Years
Level 3 in Management
Advanced Certificate in Playwork

In June 2010 I am on course to complete my Foundation Degree in Early Years.

In addition, I have attended various training on First Aid, Child Protection, Sharing Information and I have two children who both attended an Asquith Day Nursery.

I joined Asquith in January 2007 as the Nursery Manager for Maidstone Day Nursery. After 3 and a half years, and achieving an Ofsted Outstanding rating I was promoted to this role.
