Swine Flu Update
You may have seen in the news that the H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccine is now being offered to children aged 6 months to 5 years.
The paediatric consultant of Asquith Day Nurseries, Dr Raffles recommends children in this age group receive the H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccine, which is available from your GP. Prior possible exposure to the flu virus should not be considered a reason to not vaccinate. If there are pregnant women in your family or amongst your friends, it is even more advisable to vaccinate your child to help prevent spread of infection.
